Admiralty & Maritime

We count among our clients many of the world’s leading shipbuilders, owners, charterers, financiers, port authorities and governments, P&I clubs, insurers and energy sector members.

The majority of our shipping team’s work is comprised of high stakes dispute resolution work- historically many of the cases have become landmark cases in the Maritime Law field. Our shipping lawyers, many of whom are former judges or former mariners, have assisted clients in major maritime casualty cases worldwide, including but not limited to cases relating to ship fires, sinkings, groundings, collisions and pollution incidents.

Among Chinese firms, Co-effort is one of the firms with highest frequency of appearances in front of the Chinese Maritime Court. Shipbuilding and Offshore Construction
