China Law List exists to make cross-border legal services accessible, transparent, and understandable. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We are a bridge — connecting people with the legal professionals they need.

The problem
International clients in China had no reliable English-first way to find vetted lawyers. Embassy lists were incomplete; Chinese-only directories were hard to use; word-of-mouth was uneven.

Peter Zhu
Founder
Peter Zhu is the Founder of China Law List, drawing on nearly two decades of senior legal practice, enterprise leadership, and entrepreneurship. He previously served as Counsel at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, focusing on international arbitration, complex commercial disputes, and regulatory enforcement matters involving the SFC and HKEX. He sets platform strategy and quality standards for China Law List as a directory and legal information resource, not a law firm.
